HENLEY ROYAL REGATTA
To deliver the management of the Regatta's press office and media services including planning & logistics, social media, broadcast & photographic services.
BRITISH PARALYMPIC ASSOCIATION (1992-2012)
Contract covering the BPA's communications strategy including media relations, publications, lobbying and media training and website input. Matchtight provided all media services to the British team at the 1992, '96, 2000, 2004 & 2008 Paralympic Games - the latter being the most successful ever in terms of profile. Since 2008 has provided strategic communications support a well as interim PR/Press staff.
TASS
Devised a profile-raising series of activities in 2013 prior to a significant funding round. These activities were social media led and therefore cost-efficient as well as helping to produce effective results.

COMMONWEALTH GAMES ENGLAND (1990-2010)
Provided PR, media relations, sponsorship, publications and Games press office management to Commonwealth Games England who are responsible for preparing, managing, funding and sending Team England to each Games.
2009 SKANDIA SAIL FOR GOLD REGATTA
Matchtight worked with the Royal Yachting Association to deliver the media services at this event and to develop event-related PR and publicity with special emphasis on expanding local awareness and increased spectator numbers on finals day to over 1000.
BRITISH OLYMPIC ASSOCIATION
Matchtight were appointed to research, write and edit the sports and athlete biography sections of the British Team Handbook for the 2008 Olympic in Beijing. Matchtight provided the BOA with professional news staff to manage and run their own news service team for the first time at the 2008 Olympics.
THE DEXTRO ENERGY TRIATHLON ITU WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES: HYDE PARK, LONDON
Matchtight was appointed to deliver and manage the overall PR & media services at this multi-level event being held in 2009, 2010 & 2011.
VISIT LONDON
Working closely with Visit London Matchtight scoped and created a detailed feasibility plan for a media centre in central London in 2012, including the overall venue specifications, potential locations and budgets as well as developing outline documents on staffing and technology.
2005 WORLD CUP ROWING / 2006 WORLD ROWING CHAMPIONSHIP/2013 WORLD CUP
Provided British Rowing with comprehensive PR and media services, including planning & logistics and event press office management.
2002 COMMONWEALTH GAMES
Matchtight were engaged to plan, specify, staff and manage all media facilities and services for all 2800 written, photographic and non-rights holding broadcast media attending the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. The company grew to 250 employees during this period.
DOOSPORT.COM
Matchtight worked with doosport.com, the brainchild of Gabby and Kenny Logan to create material as well as PR and to handle the pilot launch of this innovative sports community website.
Prior to 2000
Matchtight Ltd ran the press services for World, European or National championships in 13 Olympic or Paralympic sports as well as for Euro 96 – the European football championships - and for Challenge ’99 – an international sports event for disabled ex-servicemen and women.
